The place of good children

The place of the Good children is created in 1961. The biggest of the fountains of Village animate it all year long! A little farther, on the street of the place , do not miss the famous fresco in trompe-l'oeil realized by the City of the creation of Lyon.

The "reyssouze"

Reyssouze takes her spring 12 km upstream to Village, on the municipality of Journans. It crosses the city in eight on more than 10 km, to join the Saône 45 km downstream.
Slept on the ancient sector of Tanneries, the stream was formerly of use to the washerwomen. In the Middle Ages, it was diverted to feed diverse mills between Curtafray and Challes. It is from there, moreover, that comes to her, her name of canal of mills.

The park of "Bouvent"

It is a park very appreciated in Bourg; there is a lake a playground for the children and golf. Before "Bouvent" was a public dump whom the city moved in a leisure park.
It is difficult by seeing the beauty of the park to
imagine that previously it was a dump.

The court of Verdun

This is the court of Verdun, a beautiful public place which was remade in 2004.

On the left you can see the Grenette(cinema) and the theatre.

Presentation of Bourg

We live in a little town who's called Bourg en Bresse situated in the south-east of France. We are going to describe to you the town that we like so much.

The church of Notre Dame

It's a radiant cathedral situated in the center of Bourg-en-Bresse.

Like the church of Brou it has a gothic style; the front was built during the Renaissance. It has a remarkable voute and amazing stained glass windows.

That cathedral is a flamboyant work of the Renaissance.

The church of Brou

The church of Brou is very famous for her beautiful roof with four different colours. It was built in the XVI century by the duchess Marguerite d'Autriche for her husband Philibert le Beau.
There is a monastery. The construction took 25 years. The monastery has a flamboyant gothic style. There are 3 different atmospheres in each one of them.

Cook at Bourg

The bresse chicken are very famous in France for their good quality. They have white feathers and blue legs. Chicken lives outside. Bresse chicken are delicious!!!!!!!!
